Nutritional Support
I understand that our nutrition can be an absolute minefield, as we are constantly being bombarded with all kinds of diets and eating plans, trends of what is supposedly good or not good for us and it can be confusing.
In the first instance I am qualified to offer nutritional support to a client, so you get an understanding of balancing food groups, recognising foods that are calorie dense but not particularly high in nutritional value, or similarly those foods that are packed full of nutritional goodness, gaining knowledge of what macro and micro nutrients are, and just simply being able to take more control over what you consume and keeping track of calories in and out.
It sometimes isn’t as simple as calories in and out though. If you have IBS, or are menopausal for instance, this can have quite a profound effect on the gut and our whole wellbeing.
Coming from a place of experience, I can offer assistance with IBS, vegetarianism, veganism and menopause, and changing our eating habits to optimise our health and wellbeing.
Ultimately, once you have gained the right knowledge you can eat intuitively and this can change your whole relationship to food.
