ABC StrongHer Lifting Club
It is important to make sure that our technique when using equipment is safe and effective right from the start. Thereafter, we can work on perfecting those techniques, which I know from personal experience can take a while as it’s an ongoing process. This process is a lot of fun though, as you get to track your strength gains and see how you’ve improved.
This has gradually morphed into a women’s only lifting club called ‘StrongHer’, which takes place on a Friday morning at 9.30am. This is open to any woman who wants to challenge herself and finds she has a love of lifting! There are myriad benefits to lifting as a female, both physical and emotional, ranging from increased bone strength to general endorphins being released.
In this session you can lift to simply get fitter and stronger but there is the option to enter competitions further down the line.
